The club holds a variety of activities through out the year
for Slovenians of all ages.
PICNICS
The Slovenian Canadian Club of Calgary has two picnics a year. One in June to also celebrate Father’s Day and Slovenian Independence. Fall Picnic is held on Sunday, one week after Labour Day. Doors open at Noon and lunch is served at 1PM.
MEMBERS LUNCHEON
The Slovenian Canadian Club of Calgary has an Annual Member’s luncheon in November. The luncheon is free to all paid members in good standing. Doors open at Noon and lunch is served at 1PM.
SENIORS LUNCHEON
The Slovenian Canadian Club of Calgary opens its doors every third Tuesday of the month from October to May for seniors to gather and reminisce about the past, enjoy music and a lunch. The lunch is prepared by different groups of volunteers each month. The menu varies from month to month because the volunteers are in charge of what they are going to prepare. The food is always great but the socialization is the most important. Come join us and see for yourself.

The Slovenian Canadian Club of Calgary has held Slovenian traditional cooking classes. Watch for updates.
CHILDREN CELEBRATIONS
The Slovenian Canadian Club of Calgary celebrates a traditional Slovenian Children’s Sv. Miklavž event annually. This is usually held the first Sunday in December.
RELIGIOUS CELEBRATIONS
The Slovenian Canadian Club of Calgary celebrates Roman Catholic Mass twice a year. These are usually held in conjunction with Easter and Christmas.
VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION
The Slovenian Canadian Club of Calgary holds special appreciation events to honour volunteers.
